How often I think of the fragrant Alpine pastures.

I lay among the clover and lady’s-smock and was so happy that it almost made my heart burst.

Because it was summer, because I heard the sound of the cow and sheep bells.

The summer meadow belongs to Lahneralm, an Alpine pasture hut (Almhütte) in South Tyrol.
